This gorgeous speakeasy is inside the Shangri-La at the fort hotel and I didn’t know what to expect but oh my, it was such a good surprise. The Back Room is a classy hidden gem in Manila. Very intimate ambiance, beautiful decor and awesome music. The drinks were super delicious and you MUST try their signature Bee’s Knee’s gin. You can also order small bites but I recommend coming here after having dinner at the Ministry of Crab restaurant (there is direct access from there as well). You can also visit their little secret “lab” where all the magic happens! We had such a good time, I highly recommend this place!

We tried two gin based cocktails – Bramble (with blackberry liqueur) and Bees Knees. And two tequila reposado based cocktails – Pamela Mela-wan (with aperol and grapefruit bitters) and Oaxaca Old Fashioned (with mezcal). Each one of them were good!
